    Yep, pretty darn hard to deactivated a primer.
    Saw a test once on FB. A bloke I trust.
    Bloke soaked about 10 primers in various oils and solvents for 24hrs..... Guess what, they all worked.

    Best way to deactivate them is press it into a case along with some powder and a bullet. Then fire it. Lol
