I had one, sold it to someone on here, regretted it ever since bloody good and reliable
Yeah we have one. Great bit of kit for non suppressed rifles. No problems with getting a speed every shot
Best thing i have ever brought.
I had an screen type one before and what a pain with low light and sunny days as well

They work really well. Some don't like how they affect point of impact being attached to the barrel. Others have come up with ways to mount to the stock to overcome this. Some cut them to use with a suppressor, I've found magnets work although I haven't proved against another system. Numbers look right for charge weights/projectiles/barrel etc.

Would recommend.
I like my sporter. The first shot is always a bit of a worry. I also got the small device that lets you plug it into a tablet or a phone. Then you can download the app and store your figures, it's a useful feature.
Some people don't like the fact that you're basically wasting a few shots because they will go to a different point of impact.
Had one. Works well if you don't mind slight adjustment once load settled on for final sight in.
Looked a touch expensive but appears they are going back up in price. Was NZ$350 retail when I got mine. But you can save a few $ here assuming shipping would be similar:

Apparently they don't like muzzle breaks, but then what does? I'm told a couple of right size hose clamps and a shaped piece of metal to act as a blast deflector fixes that though.
Not all barrels suffer POI shift with them in my and others experience, so the OP may still get ‘lucky’.Quote:

Maybe with a radial break, I’ve had no issue with ported directional breaks.
Mine doesn’t much like my 7 RM with a T2 brake and RE26 - often fails to record a reading.
I use mine to find a load with low ES then work on accuracy from there.
I use one for suppressed and unsuppressed rifles. No mod needed if you put it on high 2 sensitivity, has to be bullets bigger than about 80gr though.
I have since modified it to make it easier for use on a suppressor on the .223.
