Further on warranties. I am currently getting no response from the company that handles warranty claims for My Weigh. This is on an issue with their Gem Pro line. Registered the claim almost 2 weeks ago and got an immediate reply with a registration number and blurb about our staff getting back to me. This was probably all done automatically with no human involvement. Since then, nix, nothing. Have sent them a further message asking for update. Still no reply.
I would be wary of buying an expensive electronic device from an offshore company unless they have a local agent/support.
Inanimate objects like reloading dies, no worries, but complex electronics........
