    Primers for 7mm mag

I am working up a load for my 7mm mag (tikka t3 with fluted barrel )

I have H1000 power and 162 sst and 162 eldx

I am having trouble like most getting primers in mag

I have federal LR match primers will they work

What would I need to watch out for

    Thanks

Youll be fine with using them. I’ve successfully used them in place of magnums. Just work up a load as normal. If you swap out for magnums one day, just rework up load

Have the exact same task to do in the next few weeks
Same caliber, same powder, same bullets but I will be using federal match magnum primers

LR primers work perfectly well with that combo, only thing to watch out for is if you do end up changing to mag primers you'll have to back your load off a bit. Magnum primers are like using an extra grain of powder, that's my experience in that caliber with that combo.

I have some fed215 mag primers that id be willing to do a trade on with your fed lrm if you do want to stick with mag primers.

Where would they be. I live it Tauranga and work in Christchurch and have not seen any above small RP
I managed to get a couple of boxes of eldx in 7mm finally
Now to try 215m would be nice. Otherwise I’ll use the 210m I have for the 708

Gunworks had the LR match federal a month ago and I topped up then
But they were one tray per customer

If I do find time to do some work on my new 7mm RM load work I will work up with magnum primers and fire the same load with standard match also to see how much the velocities drop

Do they let you fly with trays of primers?
