Thread: Projectile identification ...... Do you know this pill

This was found in an animal and we are curious what brand of pill it is .223 at a guess, not done a measure yet but looks about right.

As in a non fatal shot heeled up?

yes, just under the skin, likely a pass trough another deer as it hardly penetrated ..... or taken from too far away (hopefully not as these are easy to get close to if they are supposed to be there), found when the animal was shot. If we can find the make we can ask those that had permission to shoot there what ammo they used to eliminate poaching thoughts...

Unlikely to much range as well mushroomed

Is it filled with lead? if it is Chinese it may be a steel core bullet that someones chopped back maybe
