Id also note I wouldnt say its success is down to tolerances its a handy oal length for mag feeding from most platforms it doesnt need a truck load of powder to sling heavy high bc pills its got the factory options even if inconsistent itll have all the top teir brass options and lastly marketing the 7 blaser mags even better again but missing most of the list above

I'd still choose the the 7mm blaser mag if a 26 inch barrel was on the cards.
Otherwise the 7mm saum is way more efficient for the amount of powder used.
The only advantage I see the 7prc having is factory ammo

Got a donor action/rifle? Send it my way mate. I've build several 7PRCs since its release and they are all shooters. IV got some Kriegers and a Criterion in stock, can get Hardy and or Truflite too.

buy a factory PRC rifle, get ammo brass and components and get out there after animals mate.

Having to always load ammunition can become a bugbear after a while, especially if you have other commitments and cant get / find time to do it before a hunt.
    Warm Barrels!

If you can find a good factory PRC and if you can afford $115 per 20 rounds.

I laugh at your puny little 7mm magnums. My .300 WM does 2980 fps with 208s. And it has a belt too
Just kidding - I also have a 7 RM and a .284 Win (and a .270 in case any disciples feel left out).
I bought powder and 2000 primers before we had to sell a child to buy at the current prices.

I nealy had a heart failure when I brought some 7prc the first factory rounds I've brought for about 30 years.
Cost to load 20 rounds of 7PRC $44
