Thread: Reloader 17 300 wsm

Whose running Reloader 17 in there 300 wsm. I know a lot of people say it’s temp sensitive, anyone had any first hand experience? Would like to try a different powder pushing 178 ELDX.

Yep with 185vld hunters. Not pushing them to the limit 2850 I think from memory. Very accurate. Haven’t had any temp issues. Don’t think I’ve used it in freezing conditions, probably a couple degrees warmer right up to 30+

Never had a problem in my 300wsm, but never hunt in the heat of the day .

I’ve got the same setup as you.Never had a problem with heat,saying that never have extreme temperatures here.64gr of RL17.The eldx like to be seated a little deeper to.COAL 2.840,getting 0.297 groups if I do my part.
