    reloading for a 15inch 308

Just thinking of what projectiles and powder to buy to reload for the first time. So i have got a 15inch 308 with a 1 in 10th twist i want to shoot from 10 to 350, I was thinking of 165 grain sst but i dont know what powder to use?2206? Can you even get these to go around 2500 ftps in a 15 inch barrel? will probably go with Accubond 125 grain and h335 but liked the energy (and price) of the 165 sst.
    Any help much appreciated cheers.

110g Barnes ttsx will do all you want,I load 2206h in 16in suppressed barrel, accurate and deadly, light recoil as well.get them running fast.150g sst is another good long range pill ,do a lot of meat damage up close tho.

Of course if you want to shoot beyond 350 then the 165 might be a better choice

With my 15" 708 i started off light and fast, ended up going heavier, sure its slower but more retained energy out further.

I run a 140gr NBT at 2720 fps, id be happy to shoot a deer at 400-500 yards if i had too. A 150gr from the 15" 308 should achieve the same without issue.
