    Reloading for a 308 bush/general rifle

Hey guys newly acquired t3 which has a 17.5 inch tube and can on it and leupold vx3i 3.5-10x40 cds,
Will be used for general bush hunting, fallow locally and reds and sika too and possibly the odd longer shot to say 400m max, I was going to go the normal Barnes 130ttsx that I've run in all my 16 inch versions but open to suggestions,

    Cheers cam,

If the load you have works, then use that one.
    No point reinventing the wheel.

    That's my thoughts anyway.

I've used the 130ttsx on stags at 330m and 400m out of a bushpig and the projectile performance was marginal. 2830fps 14.5" barrel. Probably not an issue if your pushing the closer to 3k

Yeah really need something a bit softer as the range gets out with a short barrel (low velocity) i reckon. With my new 284 Superpig im using the 162 Amax at only 2600, still holds good energy out way further than i'll likely ever shoot it and it should expand, and it should still work up close going slower. Hopefully ideal from 6-600 yards

Camo if it were me I'd run the 150gr interlocks for your purposes and as a general rule the interlocks suit 80% of what most people do which is sub 100m but that may have changed, the Speer hotcore 150 is another fantastically cheap and effective sub 300m round but I'm fairly certain I'm pointing what is plainly obvious to ya anyway. Good luck with ya loads
