Thread: Some little technical issues

Ive just been in the cave cleaning my new 300 wsm and needed to load some ammo for it to test fire sight in speed test etc etc
I have no factory ammo so prepping the cases all going well till...needed to seat the primers. .. well the big ole fat case wouldn't fit into my lee priming tool ..so out with the angle grinder carefully opened the base enough to fit the case in making sure the shell holder was nt going to be compromised all good .issue resolved load the primers then.. thought better test the dies etc sweet as shells in de rifle sweet as then putting some powder into the scales hmmm why doest my funel sit right on the case's ???
Ahh short neck steep shoulders of the wsm case ... how to resolve this ?? Came up with a clever tip . Found a old 270 case ran it though my 25-06 resizing die . Cut off the base wrapped a bit of tape around it job done ..worked a treat
