youll still get him on fish hunt ??? he was on here about a week ago, sometimes his email is unreliable
I got 600 off him the 6 weeks ago so he's definitely still knocking them out.
Hi fellas, I'm still here alright & still making all my bullets. My email is still the same too "targex10.1@gmail.com" & phone number is 09 4316892, evenings best if anyone wants to get me on the phone.
Not planning on giving up bullet making for a long time yet! Just trying to keep up with orders with my other work mixed in.
Have a good week!
You fellas obviously aren't doing enough work! Too much spare time on your hands.
Sorry Gimp forgot to tell you you hadn't missed me making 6.5's but like I said before they will be the next one I do when the time comes.
I'd say you need 50 first, to see if they shoot well....
email inbound.
If any of you want bullets just flick me through an email at home & I'll put them in as definite orders. Makes it easier for me to keep track of everything, about to make some 105gr for the 1 in 10" twist barrels so just let me know.
Cheers.
What weight will the 6.5mm's be?
I knew I shouldn't mention 6.5 bullets! Costs a lot to set up for each caliber & I haven't ordered any gear yet, if it happens it will be another year or so down the track & only then if I have time to make them.
If it was to happen what weights would you want? I would be looking at a boattail design with low drag profile.
140
Honestly I don't really have any motivation to change from my 140 Amax
Worked great for me in .243 too, 90, 95, 105.
yeah 140gr would be good.
Anybody know what the BC of the 69gr 223 is?
Got it from Targex guy, 0.370. Not bad.
Sorry about the price rises fellas but the simple truth is it's that or I don't make & supply bullets for sale. Other thing you have to remember is these are made using Berger J4 benchrest quality jackets & every bullet is handmade through the same set of dies not a bank of different dies.
If I could supply them cheaper I would but I simply cant with the cost of the jackets, freight & export licenses etc..
Just thought I would put this in to explain the costs, at the end of the day it all depends what level of accuracy a shooter wants or needs & often this level of accuracy just isn't needed for the average shooter but I'll keep supplying bullets for those who want it.
I make more money out of tree felling & cabinet making than I ever will out of bullet making but I enjoy the bullet making & the results they give people.
Cheers, Targex bullets.
While far from a high volume user i will continue to use them in the wifes 243 unless they get Barnes silly pricing.
They just shoot so well.
If they are around the price of an amax and shoot better i won't change.
Yet to try your 30cal.

I also will continue to use your sevices Bryn
The bedding jobs on my Finn light, Featherweight and Kimber were excellent.
And the 52 gr 224's work great in in the 22 250.Cheers.
I can't see me changing either now that I've used them.
