    Tikka Wideland 7PRC Reloading

    Gidday,

Cousin has one of the new Wideland Tikka in 7PRC arriving in the next month.
I’m going to do the reloads for it and want to see if there’s a general theme around powder type, being which is working better between 2217 and 2225. Obviously all barrels different but some things just work majority of the time. Eg 2208 is so many cases.
I’ll be trying the 180 ELDM projectiles and hope for the best but I’m keen to hear any prior experiences with the two powders.

Ideally I’d just grab the one powder and hope for the best. Seat 20 - 100 thou off lands dependant on mag length, do a quick pressure test, load up 20 and bang out a group.

It’ll be Hornady brass as he’s being given some for free with the deal. Any concerns with this stuff still? Few examples of inconsistencies.

    Any info appreciated.
