I loaded all my 450 no2 Musket brass for the Webley Wyley and the two empty 577-500 cases

Then the rain stopped and I took the Holland & Holland Webley Wyley for its first hunt by me and probably first hunt in 100 years

Today I loaded and shot 3 rounds of 30-40 with 180 grain Nosler Partition
No load work, just used my in use 180 grain round nosed bullet load.
Shot a nice group at 75m using 3 differently makes cases

    Oh I adore my 30-40s
180 grain bullets doing 2370 fps
So pretty well similar to a 308 running the same at moderate pressures

They are called hand grenades for a reason...awesome projectiles, would definitely suggest on larger deer through ribs or into neck, rather than shoulder bones. Those wallabies will not know what hit them. Fun times ahead.

Sized and tumbled about 1300 bits of 223 brass. Sick of the sight of brass.

Still waiting for the Maker 110gr to see comparison to 110gr TTSX. This for my mate. Like the sound of those light pills.

Mixed brands or straight lines when you use them?
Restraint is the better part of dignity. Don't justify getting even. Do not do unto others as they do unto you if it will cause harm.

I segregate headstamps, dont shoot mixed. This was mostly nosler

The simple load development approach means it only takes 10rd and 1 trip to the range to develop and zero (if required) for a new brand of brass when i move on

60 of these done for the morning. Need to check them over some distance and then I'll be done. Although I don't have anywhere to shoot deer past bush distances it's always good to be ready
