Have been toying with the idea of pouring more $ into this sport and am sure that the above mentioned scale would made a quantum leap forward for my reloading ( try convincing the misses about that! ). With our $ so stronge, I think the time is right for the picking. So far, google search only found US company that do not even ship To Alaska and Hawaii so NZ is out of the question. Most grateful if someone can point me to the right direction. Thanks.

Yea they are about $900.00 USD plus freight and Gst
they are crazy accurate and I have seen how much my chargemaster does actually vary loads
Yeah the charge master will give some small variances but how significant is it in real terms? has any one tried shooting significant numbers with no other variants to see if there is actually a bennifit in keeping charge weights within tiny tollerances? I dont shoot compitition but for my personal use Im more than happy with the results from the CM.
Do you remember what sort of dollars the freight was DAF?

Looks like a huge gap in the high end market that a manufacturer could come up with a simple yet extremely accurate solution.
For me, its probably not worth the time, effort and cost to go from a chargemaster to this system, but man, it would sure narrow down the variables in a high power load in a high end rifle.

You woulduse it with a chargemaster or Pact system. Throw .2 or whatever under desired weight and with the fancy trickler to come up to weight within one kernel of powder. No way would it be as fast but if its for yourself and LR loads, I could see it at least eliminating powder weight as a problem if your loads are not where ya want them.Quote:

I would never own an F1 chrony again. Pieces of inaccurate shit IMHO. I have used 2 Oehlers, one Kiwi Gregs and the other Baldbobs and they were used 6 months apart and had identical readings for the same load.Quote:

The CED 2 seems to be a good comprmise in chronys, with the IR screens its very consistant in all lights,and in front of a oehler the shot to shot variations where within 1-2 fps. the ced read slightly slower on all shots but that was before I put the IR screens on, comparing the same loads its now reading a little faster.Its not an Oelher I know but it seems to be pretty close in performance, is a lot cheaper and its easy to carry and set up.

Yep, I spose you could, if you can shoot to notice a 20fps difference in your ammo. I use a Pact system which is pretty much identical to the chargemaster. Over an Oehler, with charges thrown from the Pact, the Oehler says I have less than 20 fps ES in 2 of calibers that I use.Quote:

Meticulous brass prep is more important than .1 or 2 of a grain of powder at ranges under 600 IMO and experience. In saying that I would like too get one of those scales one day, as it would be great for weighing gold and such as well as powder charges.
As I understand it the 35 takes 2 readings,the first is the primary reading which is printed and the second is used as a proof.If it varies outside the parameters from the first reading it flashes a warning. With 4ft screen spacings the margin of error is listed at 31fps for a bullet in the 3000fps range.So if the primary error is 30fps then the proof channel wont indicate it as an error.Not sure if these parameters are adjustable though.Quote:
