A mate suggested I weigh the spent primers.

    1. Win SPP
    2. S&B SRP
Anvil was remove, so just the cup.
Cleaned in vinegar for 30min, rinsed and dried.

    Also measured height

    Results below.
    Win SPP 2.4gr H 0.1125"
    S&B SRP 2.1gr H 0.1095"
    S&B SRP 2.0gr H 0.1095"

for what its worth, A friend and i both tested large pistol primers in our .303 rifles. Shot just like our large rifle primers, no change POI, or damaged primers.

    @Percy Jones

Thx. Obviously doesn't prove anything but still useful info.
In the last couple of days Others have told me that the SPP will likely work. Some have tried them. However I will be cautious.

I see the 303 pressure seems to run between about 39,000 PSI and 49,000 PSI

ADI lists 41 Rem Mag with LPP max pressure 39,700 CUP This is about 42,283psi going by this calculator. https://www.calculatorultra.com/en/t...html#gsc.tab=0

ADI lists 357 sig using a win SPP with a max pressure of 39,200 PSI

    We will see.

Well, got the range today to try these WSPPs out.
My "hornet" load showed no signs of pressure, shot as expected.

24.7 2208 is my usual load with an S&B primer. Pic indicates with arrow to the sample with S&B primer. The 4 to the right are WSPPs.

    Two targets included.
Needless to say I purchased more WSPPs today.
These are a fairly mild load so it could change if the load is on the hot side. So, if you want to try them, work up as I did.

Seems there is still a lot of mis information out there

Sorry, I don't understand your comment.

Have I perhaps not been clear regarding the results?
