Karl the match director set up a good course, with some pretty challenging stages, ie Stage Five, M&M (scores will testify) and some really fun stages, ie the Jungle Lane Stage 3 being a firm favourite for many.
The mostly unpainted steel targets also tested your ability to find them amongst the small pines when under pressure and with horizontal rain in your face!
Without knowing the full scoreboard, it seemed scores were lower across the board testifying to the conditions.

Really cool trophies as well, small labelled hatchets.
Not much to add really. We had some crappy squalls come through with some rain and stronger winds. Made for a much harder match than intended - which is reflected in the scores. Winning scores would about 75% of the possible score in both classes, average scores was just over 50% in both classes as well. You needed to be a little lucky with the weather. If a crappy wind condition or heavy rain shower came through while you were shooting it was very hard.

My 10/22 ran ok - I have a few magazines that need a good clean out it seems.

Speed vs Precision match is coming next.

And Barren Earth makes for the 3rd match this year (from 11 so far) that has been won with a semi-auto in Rifleman class.
