Bought one as a joke for the Mrs as she hates flies. Turns out she hates the idea of squished flies and salt all over the place too.

Good fun and quite effective. Increase the challenge by shooting them on the wing!

dam been watching them trying to convince myself they are crap so I don't have to buy one. H & F want $99 I think for them last time I looked.
Did you all have to be so positive about them.

If that's the pistol version they look awesome and super powerful but that may be their downfall though in the house. And they use their own ammo which has to be bought , not just table salt.

    Look like fun.
Think I'll wait till they bring out a single shot sniper version (surly one must be in the game plan)
Twacking a fly with a low powered tiny plastic bb sounds at a few meters, sounds like a fun way to be stuck indoors.

Sounds like a good way to leave the walls covered in indentations... and bloodstreaks etc. The salt works fine, and vacuums or sweeps up easy enough. Try wing shooting them - I'm building a stock for mine.

Depend on size of plastic bb and power. The scale your talking about to take a fly down with is way less than needed to dent wood.
I'm surprised the salt ones don't splatter fly innereds everywhere.
Dude I'm not a good enough shot to wing a fly with what is basically a shot gun for salt.
Still got to try one. Would one take a white tail spider?

Wood walls, no problem. Mine are mostly Gib though.
I've been hammering the flies, and have noticed a real decrease over the numbers last year. Fuck'em, I say.

I love mine , I shoot in the house , in the garden , a shot of salt does not hurt glass , gib, wood floors, chandler’s, etc it does not make them bleed so no blood splatter I shot one of my mates knee he was wearing jeans though ! It’s a fun way of killing flys in the house rather than using sprays and defo made a difference in our house salt easily vacs up after, I shoot paper wasps, one shot gets them down, then a mercy shot,

It's been great to teach the kids good gun handling. 10 push ups for things like walking around with your finger on the trigger or not pointing it in a safe direction.
you not x miltary by any chance?
