About LinkBacksSome AOs will not issue a permit for something which does not require one, which is actually the NZ Police Policy.
There is no provision for Police to issue a permit to import for components of firearms, other than those that fall within the definition of ‘part’ above.

If you can get one, great, but you do not need one.
NZ Customs WILL let a trigger through for an A category firearm, because there is no law which allows them to withhold it.
