    Predator Hunting Canada

Just got an e mail from my son in Canada with a few pictures of my youngest grandson with his first coyote. Hunter shot the coyote from about 100 yards with one shot out of his dad's heavy barrel Savage 22 250.
Looks like a pretty chilly day out over in Canada. Now that deer hunting has now ended till next season the old coyote gets a bit more attention and keeps the eye in over the long winter months.
Hunting Coyote can sharpen your shooting skills as many shots are taken at 300 - 400 yards or further and calibers like the 22 250 Rem are pretty much the ideal medicine for these wily creatures.
Beeman loads his own ammo and uses the 50 grain Winchester Ballistic silvertip bullet at close to 3800 fps and has found they perform well near or far.
Coyotes are responsible for quite a few deer kills in winter and for killing a lot of fawns soon after birth.
So from a hunters point of view keep tabs on coyote numbers is a good thing.Name: Hunter's first Coyote.JPG
