Road Cones and Pine Cones Thermal Ballistic Calculator Test

Today I had a bit of fun testing the thermal's built in ballistic calculator. The Tippmann is sighted in at 30m zero with CCI subsonics as this is my most common range to encounter game and is pretty much dead zero out to 55m. I have loaded the ballistic info into the Sytong (velocity, projectile specs, height above sea level / bore etc). Its then just a case of turning on the rangefinder and the Sytong does the rest, placing a red cross on the reticle at point of impact.
I parked the ute a random distance from the 20cm gong, and a road cone with a pine cone on top. Then had a bit of fun testing the accuracy of the ballistics. I used factory velocity info but will further test this with a chronograph.
    Enjoy!
