Actually I'm not miffed by the hares.
My wife is constantly telling me to shoot the hares and quail in her garden ... she say " haven't you got any guns" ... pretty ironic statement around here.
But having just fitted the tang sight and re zeroed the point of aim it seemed like a great opportunity to try the 110 year old rifle and justify having more than enough guns

the saying USED to be..an apple a day keeps the doctor away...in these modern times a bacon sandwich is more effective.

only applies if doc is a new age vegan who is an ardent fan of natural therapies and charts cauliflower enemas for ugliness!.dont laugh -iworked with a woman once who used to have some natural therapist give her enemas twice a week to make her feel younger and charge $50.00per session. nup she still resembled the back of the local nightcart!

That is truly revolting. More like red froth than mist.

@Micky Duck Sorry photo probably needs some context. The magpie was sitting on a strainer post. Pic was taken looking down at what was left of magpie from the top of said post. There is a lot of bird crap on top of post, giving it the white color.

Blooded the 17hmr today, point and click 100m through the neck of Mr Bunny, when I pulled the skin off the top half (shoulders and above came away). Didn't see an exit wound but given the condition of the spine I suspect it was somewhere in the top half I threw away.
