    5 yrs …..might be some birds back in there again by now then , just going for a wander in a couple weeks to some old spots for a look around , just hope my cars in 1 piece when I get back out .

    same as back in 80s,leave NOTHING in the car and leave glovebox and center console open so it can be seen nothing is there worth pinching....

    we have had a few cars in at work for repairs this year ......
    parked up in the coromandels come back jump in and drive 100m maybe then die ............... they dont syphon anymore just punch a hole in the tank........
    we had 2 batteries stolen from a truck outside work , cameras got his vehicle and rego ..... cops say "hmmm car fits the description of one of interest in the fuel thefts "....he was a local i saw him (looked like jesus on crack).... hes been arrested now , so probably on bail and still doin it

    Definitely, although we were in there every other weekend in the eighties and we never once had a break in , although our cars were dungas and clearly we had no money so there would be nothing inside worth nicking …hahaha
