    320 yds with my 243, and the second one was my mate with his 30.06.

    Not really biting ,just checking to make sure its dead I think .
    Just read they instinctively throat hold on wind pipe on a wounded animal ,maybe was the GSP.

    He used the slow flying bricks as usual. He fired an instant after me, and mine was dead for 5mins before his brick arrived
