Watched the video in its entirety, and really no reason in picking a side as to the perceived right or wrongs.I would hesitate to guess that if one does not come away with learning something about this, then it's a complete waste of ones typing. The previous poster made some great points, and as a young fella(14-15) running around makara and wainuiomata many years ago chasing goats,I believe we would have been guilty of indiscretions that one doesnt really fathom until you have "learned" a thing or two from experienced shooters and hunters.
I have a little shooting experience out of choppers, back in the day,and witnessed serious, accurate shooters have bad days, with occurrences like this video,it did play on their minds, especially when we lost one.We never bagged anyone about it because it was never"intentional" and it certainly made for a more "restrained"shooter as reputations were always on the line.
Its when you meet blokes like Rex Forrester that u understand hunters and shooters if they are worth a shit, are willing to take advice and be humble about there shortcomings. My uncle was a deer culler for the Govt before the Chopper boys, shot everything with a 303 lienfield,I never saw him take a shot where he didn't mean it.......just my opinion...
