May want to check your email a little more closely. Your email you get after application is to confirm the blocks you selected.

Ballot doesn't get drawn until the 11th of October.

Have fun in there. I love that block.

One of the most scenic blocks in the Haast ballot but also one of the hardest to hunt and find animals. Not much scope for more than 2 hunters. Few chams in there and a chance of a big one if ya see a stag. Gets a bit of a hammering with 1080.

    Hey man,
It’s my first year I’ve been allowed the time to hunt during the Roar, no idea about what’s good but I’ve drawn the same block as you but the 4th week.. now the blocks sounding like a waste of time and money haha, I should have done better research first.

It’s the first time we have applied for the ballot as well mate. We didn’t do much research but we knew there’s trophy genetics in the area. Just hoping to catch a mature stag floating around
