Bit of advice. There are some flats that are only around 2k downstream from where you are likely to camp. It is on another block but if no one is there you might want to have a look. Don't bother trying to reach them as I have travelled both ways up and down the river and took me nearly 4 hrs each way. Game trails are all buggered from slips and earthquakes
Don't light a fire or you will scent up the whole block and push the animals high.
If you are trying to get anywhere climb high first.
When last in there we seen good sign of a mature stag but he climbed up to the tops everyday. Seen his hinds but never got a good look at him.
Seen a few chams with one good one but he gave me the slip when I tried to climb up to him.
You will see what I mean when you get in there but unless you are experienced in that type of country don't be surprise if you don't even see an animal.
I would hit it in the helicopter at least once a fortnight and shot bugger all out of the whole valley. Did shoot a 113 kg spiker in there once. Was a massive drop in 2007 that really smashed the numbers and they rain the 1080 every couple of years.
Not trying to rain on your parade just letting you know what you could be in for
