Go on Old Timer,(capitals for respect), spin us a good old West Coast yarn. Take us back to the days of swannies, Buller boots, black jacky hoes, green river knives, railway tarps, and Norse wear socks.

You dont have to be on the West Coast to "spin" a yarn. That gear was de rigeur in times of yore. Spending time at the Mangaweka pub in undies , Jackie Howe and Bullers after walking across the Ruahines and not seeing anyone for 2 weeks.
