Coronets you mean, pedicle is the bone that attaches to the antler. A little bit of pedicle falls off with the antler each time they cast bringing the coronets closer to the skull (as you're obviously aware). this blokes coronets were almost sitting on the skull.
He's getting to that magic time where there's so little pedicle left and the coronets are so low they almost appear to be slipping off the skull.
He's got all the characteristics of an old deer and I am aware that there are too many variables to call age accurately based on tooth wear. I was just interested to hear people's opinions on what they'd ballpark him at.
