If you pass through Dannevirke Roberto send me a pm I will hook you up with some trout, can supply a rod and lures if you want to have a go at wild trout. Can guarantee a sighting but up to you Roberto to catch one. Dannevirke is just South of Napier.

    Hi bill
I was also for 4 days in the kawekas again - a good trip
I shot on a sika 6pointer over a vally - and i missed him
I think there was to much wind
Next day i have seen a female deer beetween bushes but to far (the wind was also to strong) but there was a chance and when i get closer the deer goes into the bush and never come out until darkness ....
    But - thats hunt !
My ferry to the s.i. i fixed yesterday for the 6. Of march - on the 8. I have to go to the wild foot Festival
    Good luck
    See you
    Robert

    My first nz-trout
