There’s a long story to this. But let’s just keep it simple it was as you discussed above. Like being hit in the guts and feeling really ill and out of sorts.

So I heard about a young guy around 17yrs old who went to help repair a large fishing trawler.
They where painting and doing anchor capstan winch and chain repairs as well..... The day progressed and the ship finally sailed once repaired..... The young lad was never seen, after a few days he was reported missing and never found.... The next time the ships anchor chain locker was opened they found bones and they ended up being this young lads remains.... Somehow he got trapped in the chain locker was entombed and his banging and screaming went unheard...... What a shitty way to go?? The anchors Chain links where too big for him to lift and bang on the hull plates and the noise of the ships Generators and hydraulics drowned anything out.... I hate thinking about that young kid.... I find myself visualizing his helpless situation alone and without any chance.... The dread and terror being trapped in that situation would be endless and unrelenting until the end...... Kinda the ultimate "BAD" Feeling

Cheers Mohawk. I know, understand what you're saying and I don't. I do have (I think) A good grip on reality and accept that in Life ,shitty things happen, It's important to be wise astute and avoid them happening too yourself.....

All good as far as I'm concerned.

terrible way to go...his bosses will be the ones who shouldnt be able to sleep at night,leaving a man on board just has to be plurry near impossible in todays H&S loaded work enviroment...... how the hell the wharf security didnt twig is beyond me....sign in,sign out and all that.

This was over 20years ago and I'm not sure if it happened in NZ. The Skipper who told me about it worked all thru the Pacific..... I think the lad was there as cheap labour to remove rust and scale.... hell he may have been overwhelmed by dust and fumes..... No one will ever know???

fuk i remember back from when i was 5 through to 14 i had to travel half an hour from my house to catch the school bus with a small group of us. we had to drive past this old as fuk overgrown cemetery it was that old and neglected there were trees growing out of a lot of the graves. It was about 30m of the road. Every time we drove past it you would get some kind of feeling and everyone would just go quiet every single time. It was even scarier at night time id hide my head and close my eyes as if you looked over at it you could see what looked like movement in the trees. this was in the outback in aussie...even now that's one place id not want to go and visit. Another thing about that place was there were a lot of fatal truck accidents at that point on the road..

So I rang the Skipper and I've gotten it ALL wrong sorry lads.... It was in NZ... Here's the News paper report.... apologies to all members for my discrepancies....... Body found on boat was that of fugitive | Stuff.co.nz

I get that same feeling when a piece of seaweed touches my foot, or I feel like a shark is near me.
but low and behold on the days I see sharks/get my fish sharked and im in the water the feeling doesn't magically appear before they do

its just the chicken shits or your subconscious telling you "what if" there was a shark right behind you right now
if that devolves into a full blown panic attack well that's all the more evidence of something supernatural in the eyes of someone trying to make sense of why their body is acting up
