About LinkBacksClement mills road on the north island if you want to chase sika deers. You have 24 ish km of road in the middle of the bush and a few camp grounds along the way. Reasonably easy access, it’s just that trying to nail one of them is the hard bit.
Where ever you are going to go in NZ, Make sure you have a good gps with a topo map from nz , and don’t rely just on your cell phone.
