That looks like what we called butterfly reef down (not sure if that’s its real name) south of Ohau point but above cape terawhiti on Wellingtons West Coast. Current was quite strong but after a few days of southerly winds the visibility was excellent and boy did we get a lot of crays in there on scuba drifting along in the current.
