And they are bloody big animals as well. Bigger than a horse. The adrenalin would have been coursing though his veins filming that.

Very good footage but a bit close when they are in that mood. Both not bad sized Bulls. When I went on my moose hunt my outfitter had two bulls antlers locked together on his porch. On eof the bulls had drove a tyne through the palm of the other. The Bulls had died locked together.

If you are hunting moose, no need to take a gun so Whiskey will be fine.....take a camera. No one will believe you anyway....Besides, would you really want to be the person who killed the last one???

Ah but see it wouldn't be the last one as there would need to have been a breeding pair for that one to exist and even if the breeding pair had subsequently died then there would still be the other thousand that are living in the same area as the Moa. Such is the stuff that legends are made of.

If it was the last one it wouldn't matter if it was shot or died of old age.

On the scale of moose they are "Not Bad Sized" but there are a lot bigger around than those, bulls will grow antlers up to 80 inch spread. Mine was just over 60 inch but could have had a better palm on the left side and more brow points rather than the two aside it has. Not saying either of the bulls on the video aren't worth shooting but they do grow bigger. If I ever have the chance to hunt Alaska Moose again I would look for the improvements on what I already have if I don't get back I am more than happy with what I have already.
