ive bought a lot from guncity .My 7.62x39 developed a fault -got hold of them -took it in -they took rifle to pieces in front of me found the fault -simultaneouslyDT fronted took one look -nup put it aside give hima new one and packet of ammo for his troubles! Istill have that rifle and its a wee cracker as is its lil sister my223 (ex tim&talon and a family bithday present.
in recent times ive been gifted 4 firearms .22 x2 plus 2shotguns one a very fine Italian manufactured skeet gunwhich is castoff for a (R) handed shooter .this is immacutlate in every respect smithy would attest to (hes used it).my original centrefire my .303 was a GC purchase and ive had it 40yr .our own gundoc shortened the barrel for me and gave me a verry good session of intstruction on its idiosyncrasies!
My worst experience H&F woudlnt swhop there unless Icant source it elsewhere .

You can get a decent new rifle for not much more than what some second hand ones go for. Have a look at Mossburg Patriots or a Howa 1500

Have seen and shot several mossturds. Not a single one was capable of shooting better than 2-3 moa. Their barrels are bad, the bedding design is retarded.

And no, my rifles (tikkas, remingtons, rugers) all shoot between cloverleafs and easily sub-moa.

Thats what I was expecting from this one but this one shoots inch or under easy with handloads if youd call them that. Had some fmj pulled the pills and seated soft points in it and wala

I wouldn’t buy a rifle from GC sight unseen, you’d want to have a look at it first or get someone you trust too. That being said I bought my Blaser R93 second hand off them years ago, it took several visits and the “Carlsen Highway” treatment to get the price down to what I thought was fair
