About LinkBacksWhirinaki has been 1080 ed many times over the last 14 odd years. Over the years we still used to hunt our favourite spot and never noticed a difference in deer numbers. Haven't been in in recent times but there are still deer around the edges so I can't see it being to bad off in the park. Poison gets some but there are always enough left for hunting.
Hopefully there is no need to do it again but DOC love the stuff so who knows.
