Desexing my german shorthaired pointer bitch?

Hi guys, just ordered myself a new GSP pup.. Just curious what peoples opinion is on desexing Hunting dogs? would it change the dog much? She'll be my deer pointing dog. Any help would be appreciated.

I worried about that with my dog whippet and had lots of different opinions. In the end NO, it made absolutely no difference to his drive.
My bitch GSP pup I don't think I'll desex purely because I want a litter out of her down the track otherwise I'd do it in a heartbeat.

UP to you but there is no harm in it.

Actually, BH there is harm in it particularly if it is done too young, inspite of what some veterinarians say...

We hd both out pointers done primarily because they were brother and sister and there are already more than enough pointers on the market, good, bad or otherwise with out us contributing by accident.

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
