    Fawns

    A few red fawns about. Seen one two weeks ago, then another couple so far this week when out mustering .this one only couple days old by the looks.Name:  DFB937CD-1FF3-4242-A657-B3C005CE638E.jpeg

    shit loads of them around..was watching hinds n fawns in mid canterbury 2 weeks ago... hinds were VERY spooky.

    Walked onto a hind last week, she stood there looking at me real nervous like, then looking round behind her which gave it away. Could have shot her with the .22, then realised why she wasn't running.
    Wee fawn curled up like a possum in the bottom of the briar. As Mick says, theres heaps around at the moment

    Haven't seen any Fallow fawns, only started coming across yearlings wandering in the middle of the day over the last 10 days.

    Nice time of the year to pick up some dum yearlings for the freezer , hunting reds this weekend and was thinking they may have dropped some fawns now
