    mine had damaged its leg but it looked fairly well healed. I did look at the organs but I plan on taking a bit more notice from now on with a better idea of what to look for, mine was tough and had a taint to the meat.
    Im not sure that there is a risk to humans through any disease. Especially if the meats well cooked.
    We worry too much. I have kicked the odd one over the bank because it was too skinny or I didn't like the look of the meat though. Besides, I don't like getting my hands dirty by fishing around inside the dark and spooky internal spaces of a deer

    After years of venison trade meat hunting, I really enjoy not having to gut them.
