If you stay in a back country hut, friends place, motel or whatever situation you need to stay in means that storage of firearms won't follow the legislation.

It's possible this could be used against us if they want to make things difficult.
Maybe there is an need for portable vehicle firearm safes that are somehow fixed to the vehicle to overcome this issue??
it what way would staying in a back country hut be non compliant????
unless you leave it unattended and bugger off sight seeing . same with at friends place...unless you leave it unattended its still in your possession.

I discussed this with the vettor at my renewal last year, if you're asleep the firearm is considered unattended.

So there must be at least 2 of you on an overnighter and one must must be awake at all times. Gets sillier by the day.
