Fishing / Hunting On-Board Charter Trips into Fiordland

Been thinking about one of these trips for a while now. I know there are 3 or 4 charter boats that run these trips into Fiordland for up to 10 days.
Any suggestions or advice on who to contact for costs, and availability would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Give Pure salt a bell ;-) from memory including flights from Manapouri for 7 days it was 3800 however they've recently had to increase the rate.

As I live round these ways I can happily do some asking around for ya too?

Did a week on the Takapu early March. Awesome trip. Mostly diving and relaxing. Did a bit of hunting but couldn't be bothered putting in to much effort. Would have been a hassle getting meat home. The other guys freighted crays home, but I get enough crays up here so gave them my quota.
Takapu has two good dive boats. A mate was on different boat a month later and had a mediocre trip. The dive tender was a small inflatable which he said would have sunk if someone didn't stay on the air pump.
I would certainly recommend the Takapu, but it is the only one I've been on down there. Don't expect five star accommodation, but it's comfortable enough.
They supply dive bottles, weight belts and spear guns.
    Overkill is still dead.

I think they are all probably much the same. Some of the guys on our trip complained about things too. What I liked was they had good boats to dive from, as much air(bottles) as I could get rid of, and I didn't have to worry about anything. When I'm diving up here, I'm also the skipper and usually got others diving too. So there's a lot going on in my head. Down there, all I had to do was gear up and go diving. Someone else did all the worrying.
striker and Micky Duck like this.
