Here we go then, I tell myself I have all I need now but I tell myself the same all the time, there's always new stuff to try! But pretty happy with my general kit, just add food.

Clothing



2x longjohns, one for hunting, one for sleeping

1x Merino top

2x microfleece t shirts

2x spare socks, again one for hunting, one for sleeping

Down Jacket

Beanie

1x spare underwear (don't wear them if I'm wearing longjohns)

Jacket, I take one or the other but lean towards the Swazi Tahr, other is a Kuiu Chugach NX, packs really small and is 100% watertight but I can't tear myself away from the tahr, keeps ya bum warm and dry, and provides warmth and watertight at the same time.

I pack all my clothes into the orange dry bag and I'm usually wearing some rugby shorts and a merino top to start with.



Sleeping



Tent Terra Nova Solar Competition, weighs 1kg, bombproof

Sleeping bag is Macpac Lattitude 500xp which will handle anything, or Aegismax UL bag which weighs bugger all for warmer weather

The cup, stove, and a 230gram gas canister all fit inside the pot, I get about 3-4days easy from a 230 gram canister

Sunglasses, spend good money on sunnies, your eyes are important

Gaiters

Possum/merino gloves (not shown) usually keep these handy like in jacket pocket great to throw on when glassing etc)

Pack



Exped lightning 60, weighs under 1.5kg, carries a load well and is surprisingly comfortable for a light pack

Wrote this on my phone so hope it makes sense and is in order. Pack weight is around 9kg with all that stuff (excluding rifle and bino bivvy stuff) then just add food
