Thread: Great Weekender

Just wanted to quickly thank @scotty for taking me under his wing over the weekend. We went to the Pureoras where we met up with @sometimes1 and I learned a lot from both these guys. Great banter and interesting stories around the campfire. It's awesome that they took the time to pass on some knowledge to a city boy, novice like myself, so thanks guys.

Saw some good hunting spots, with quite a bit of sign (pigs and deer). We didn't see any animals and @scotty reckons our timing may have been slightly off (time of year or time of day). It was my first time there and will definitely be heading back.
