Thread: gutted!

little yarn for ya, shot a real nice hind from 250 300m and couldn't find her, had a real long decent look too.. went back the next day before flying out and my brother found her. choice as, but she was a bit smelly and still warm under where she had been lying and her fur was pulling off real easy but went to work gutting and skinning her as we wanted to get as much meat as possible to the butcher, I had put two shots in her chest uphill and managed to cut her kidney in half and one through the lungs so she wouldn't have taken too long to pass away however the smell was pretty bad... butcher said she had bone taint and couldn't get any meat off her. I'm real gutted and real sad for the animal.. shot from down by the hay bales
