    Hi from Oamaru

Name is Chris. I am new to this.
Looking for pick some brains for some info.
Im wanting to get out after a pig or 2 with my son but am thinking unless I have dogs that we are wasting our time. Would this be true?
Or even bring him out to get his first deer. I have not been hunting long myself. Only doing it a couple of years mostly wallabys and rabbits, and started duck shooting this year with my son who loved it and didnt want to go home.

Welcome Chris. Plenty of guys shoot pigs without dogs in open country. Bit harder bush stalking them though.

Nope. You can hunt them with a rifle. There's a thread here somewhere, where one of our other members found some pigs and baited them up and has shot 2 or 3 now. Someone should be able to dig it up for you

    Welcome Chris.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
