    15 for me and the freezer is getting empty again, I've worked out there are 14 feeds in a fallow deer for us, Aussie beef is shithouse so venison is the main source of protein for the family

    I have hardly hunted this year due to study. Total I have seen maybe 100+ Sika for the year and shot 4, could have shot quite a few more though.

    the Title should be rephrased to
    how many of you have shot a deer on public land this year.

    How many? Not enough

    Last year and this year have been a very quiet on the hunting front with only 1 Red and 1 Fallow for 2013 and the coming year doesn't look much more promising

    Hope to change things in 2015.

    Two both reds. 1 at the start of the year 1 last weekend been a good year for my daughter. Isabella with 1sts on rabits hares goats and wallabies so she's happy
