Thread: How many guy hunting with subsonics? ( non varmint )

Start to have accumulated a little number of preys shot with 308 ,and 300 whisper/blackout.

150 grain lead cast hollow point give me best results. I have not tried the Leigh
I am still convinced that whenever possible we should be using supersonics. Subsonics don't kill reliably well and quick.having a dog to track wounded game would be a plus.
Past 100 yrds, rangefinder and some sort of trajectory compensation are a must have:
Turret Bdc or graduated reticle. If using a graduated reticle , try to go with a first focal plane scope and you will never look back.

You have to reload and you have to produce a high degree of consistency in your reloading if you want to accurately shoot past 120m.
