Thread: How youngs too young

    I shot my first deer at 12,after a year of trying. I started out with air rifles at about five and got my own .22 at 8.
    With a son due in a few weeks I'm hoping to follow a similar timeline with him if he is interested,and he better be as I have already bought him a .22 youth rifle!
    I don't think I'll make him use a 303 like I had to,it's a long way down the track but a 7.62x39 or the like is on the cards I think
