Thread: Hunter numbers during the holidays

I took my two boys into the Boyd via Poronui/Oamaru last Christmas.
We had an awesome time, for a well walked route we saw 4 people in total, 2 trampers 2 hunters.
My hunch is most are with family and more lake/sea oriented rather than mountains or the bush.

We’ll go somewhere next week for a few days. Undecided at this stage, depends how many are coming…
