Why would you post that on a public forum? *♂️

I suppose even though you’ve given a complete road map, people will see that it’s 1000 vertical metres and just walk to the hut anyway

I say good on him for posting it

Its no secret that there are plenty of deer in there and as mentioned above "you couldn't make a dent in them solo if you tried"

Probably won't see them at the hut but if your prepared to do the vert then have at it !!

It should bother you much anyway daggers its a long way from Sa'dah in Yemen or have you moved

There used to be a swing bridge across to the Dozy back when you had separate blocks in the area

Because I hate trying to hunt that place in the roar when the hinds out number the stags 20-1. Place needs a decent bomb up.
Like you said though most people will look at the hill and still walk up the river

It's public land. You can only shoot deer once. I just about piss myself with people who think " they have possies" or spots on public lands that give them special rights, they need to get a life.

I'm happy to tell anyone where I shot my last 10 or so deer.

Meh sometimes if you leave stags to mature its nice not to have that exact spot especially when advertising to people that clearly won't be selective. Ive not seen anyone say no-one can hunt it.

There's a difference between not wanting a spot posted on the internet and thinking you have special rights.

I'd maybe argue that anyone that needs this info to find deer in the current climate should focus less on the spot and more on being a better hunter. Its genuinely hard not to find deer if you are willing to climb a hill and don't hang around huts or tracks.

Personally I don't have a problem with general areas being given but I get more dubious as we start posting exact locations on a topo.
