Thread: info on waro/chopper areas?

hey fellas trying to do a bit of research on red deer areas that are most unlikely to be hit by Waro? and chopper hunting?

around the north otago and south canterbury areas, are there any places that are known target spots for this kind of hunting and areas to steer clear from if wanting to go looking for red deer / stag ?

i read on here that they cant operate in RHA? are they able to in national parks? conservation parks? or any Open Hunting areas?

any somewhat specific areas to not put in a gut wrenching walk to find no deer sign would be much appreciated and any PMs in terms of reasonable areas which hold a few red deer would be pretty awesome... not expecting much in that regard .

reason being in mt aspiring i didnt see any red deer sign at all? most hut book mentioned also a lack of deer sign? is this due to 1080 drops or waro ? heli hunting?

ive seen some Deer in other big valleys in the sth canterbury ? areas , do these get touched up as much?

any links would be awesome to pour over aswell
